Welcome to my first State of the Blog post. I want to do these every few months to just talk about what I’m currently working on, and what my plans our for endpointguy.com over the next few months.
Where We’ve Been
I started this blog back on December 5th after attending Microsoft Ignite in Chicago, with a goal to post and talk about all kinds of different technology items but mostly focusing on new technologies related to endpoint administration, with a big emphasis on Microsoft products such as Intune.
Then on December 10th, my wife gave birth to our first child, so I got a little side tracked! I haven’t had time to start posting about all the new stuff I learned about back at Ignite, but I’ve still been keeping up with technology news and there’s a lot to talk about. So, what are my plans for the next few months?
Where We’re Going
Microsoft is hosting their 2025 Technical takeoff at the beginning of March. I’m going to attend all of those virtual sessions and start making blog posts over the next few months talking about all of that content. I’m sure there will be a lot of overlap from Ignite 2024, but it’ll be a great refresher and a chance to post about everything new that was announced at Ignite.
I also want to focus on creating some Intune guides. While this blog is very much a work in process, I want endpointguy.com to be a one-stop shop in the future for everything Intune. If you want to know how to setup certain policies, windows autopilot, I want to have easy to read guides on endpointguy.com
I’m super excited to start this blogging journey, and having a platform to geek out about all of the cool new technology in the coming years. Stay tuned for more!
P.S. I generated the featured image on this post using AI, I have a post coming up soon talking about AI and my opinions on it.
